More Facilities For Folkestone Needed

Folkestone for sale? Local Lib Dems Lynne Beaumont, David Dickinson and John Hughes view some of the shops for sale in Folkestone
More needs to be done to attract new jobs, shops and leisure facilities to Folkestone say local Lib Dems. Folkestone's Town Centre has never been in a worse state according to many local residents.
Lib Dem Lynne Beaumont said, "We want to see a vibrant town with good facilities for local people young and old. A Lib Dem Council would work much harder to attract investment in our town."
A top Lib Dem priority is a better town centre for Folkestone. They also want to improve public transport links into the town.
Cllr Paul Marsh said, "Despite their promises, the current Conservative Council has failed to deliver town centre improvements. We will work hard to deliver this for local people."
