Carroll helps out Walmsley House residents

Local campaigner Peter Carroll has come to the rescue of residents in Walmsley House in Folkestone.
Peter was approached by the residents when they had a problem with the storage of their disabled buggies.
The buggies need to be kept securely out of the rain, and so residents have been storing their buggies in the communal lounge at Walmsley House. They were then told that the buggies could not be stored there for health and safety and fire reasons.
Peter Carroll stepped in and approached Homebase in Folkestone to see if they would donate a shed to help the residents store their buggies. Homebase have very generously agreed, and Peter is now setting up meetings to arrange how to get the shed in place and in use.
Peter Carroll said "The job is not quite done yet, but we are hopeful that the shed will be in place soon. I am very grateful to Homebase for their help."
