Kent Police have issued guidance to "trick and treaters", and those who are are worried by them, over the Halloween period. Their advice to those worried about strangers coming to their door at Halloween, particularly those calling late in the evening is:

Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and KCC wardens will also have copies or you can download and print out a copy (see link at foot of this page). Alternatively they will available to cut out from your local paper.
