A New Strange Cargo: Other People's Photographs

Folkestone based art company Strange Cargo have launched a major new public artwork "Other People's Photographs": and they want YOU to take part!
Strange Cargo would like to borrow your photos taken in the streets of Folkestone, Cheriton and Sandgate. The photographs must have people as their main subject and must be clear and in focus.
They are collecting images for every street, which will eventually form part of an interactive map of the area in Bride Hall's new Bouverie Place shopping centre development. In addition they will be enlarged and printed on to sign panels and erected in their corresponding streets.
Strange Cargo say:
"The photographs could have been taken today, last week, last year or even last century... if there is a specific street you would like to record, why not get your friends together and take one tomorrow?
"Please send your photos to Other People's Photographs, Strange Cargo, Georges House, 8 The Old High Street, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1RL or email high resolution digital camera photos to info@strangecargo.org.uk."
They are aiming to collect the photographs by the end of the summer, and promise that all photographs will be handled with care and returned to you in due course.
Please don't forget to include your full name, address and phone number and a brief story behind each photo with its approximate date.
