Regional Role for Shepway Lib Dem Duo

Season Prater: New South East Regional Secretary and Shepway Memberhip Secretary
Shepway Lib Dems Season Prater and Darren Briddock have been elected to the South East Liberal Democrats Regional Executive. The elections took place at the South East Region Conference in Effingham near Leatherhead in Surrey, and saw Season elected as the Secretary of South East region for 2007, and Darren elected as Regional Treasurer.
Both Season and Darren are key members of the Shepway Liberal Democrat team: Season Prater is the Membership Secretary of Shepway Liberal Democrats, and Darren Briddock the local party Treasurer.
Shepway Local Party Chair (and husband of Season) Tim Prater was delighted and congratulated both Season and Darren. He said:
"Both Season and Darren work really hard for us here in Shepway, and I have no doubt they will both make a real impact at Region as well. Their experience from Shepway will help the region develop its capabilities over the coming years, and its fantastic to see them both be elected.
"It's also a huge relief to me that both Season and Darren remain committed to Shepway as well - it's a new role for both - not a replacement one!"
