Tom McNeice and Darren Briddock by Cheriton High Street tunnel to Broomfield Road Car Park
A well-known Folkestone trouble spot between Cheriton High Street and Broomfield Road Car Park should soon be closed after action from the Morehall Lib Dem team.
Darren Briddock and Tom McNeice have worked with the property owner, police and local councils to get the tunnel gated.
Darren said "Gates should be fitted on the tunnel soon by the building owner.
"Local people were at their wits' end about gangs gathering in the tunnel. The area is often covered with bottles and worse and has been badly damaged. I'm pleased we could help."
