BBC Kent Highlights Briddock's Folkestone West Underpass Campaign

BBC Kent this morning broadcast an interview and coverage of Darren Briddock's work to get South Eastern Trains to refurbish the passenger tunnel at Folkestone West Station. Morehall campaigner Darren drew attention to the state of the underpass, its impact on tourists visiting our area, and the concerns of local people of using the tunnel at night.
In response to the campaign, including a Youtube video showing the poor state of the tunnel, South Eastern Trains have now pledged to redecorate the tunnel at some stage next year. Darren Briddock and the Lib Dem team are continuing to push to get a firm commitment to a fixed date and a proper refurbishment - not just painting over the mould.
