Folkestone Town Council: Key Committee Chairs Announced

Folkestone Deputy Mayor Emily Sanger was elected Chair of the key Community Services Committee of Folkestone Town Council on Tuesday night, with new councillor Dhan Gurung being elected as Vice-Chair. The Committee is focused on developing and supporting services for Folkestone, and the positions are for the 2007-08 year.

The Planning Committee will be Chaired for 2007-08 by Conservative Councillor Richard Theobold, with Lib Dem Gary Fuller as Vice-Chair.

The Finance and General Purposes Committee will be the last major committee to elect its Chair and Vice-Chair at its meeting next Thursday.
