Still No End to Remembrance Garden Shame

Gary Fuller highlights the stil broken wall of the Garden of Remembrance
Despite writing to Shepway District Council about the shocking state of the Garden of Remembrance over nine months ago, Lib Dem Town Councillor Gary Fuller was upset to find, during the VJ Day Remembrance Service held there on Wednesday, that no action has been taken to repair the damage to the bins or the surrounding wall.
Gary said, "How can Shepway District Council claim to be showing true respect to the brave few that fought and died for us in our hour of direst need when they can't even replace a few broken wall slabs and three disgusting bins."
Cllr Fuller has re-reported the disrepair to Shepway Council and is planning to write to the Council leadership to demand an explanation.
