Leas Beacon Lighting Tonight

This evening the Leas Beacon will be lit for the official hand over from the Folkestone Lions to Folkestone Town Council. This event is open to all and the Town Mayor, Councillor Peter Gane and Town Councillors have invited all local residents to join in the festivities.

Starting at 6.30pm, the beacon is on the Leas next to next to the carpet bed, by the Leas Cliff Hall. The Westbrook School Choir will perform many carols in which you are all welcome to join in with.
