The Liberal Democrat candidate for Bexley and Sidcup, Duncan Borrowman, has written to the Metropolitan Police to examine of a fraud has been committed by Mr Conway. Duncan commented:

"The Conservative's may have withdraw the whip, but it is not the Conservative Party he should answer to, it is the taxpayers who have funded his family to the tune of £1,535,716."
