Kent's Pothole Blitz: Week One

PotholesKent County Council are running an April Blitz on potholes, seeking to repair up to 10,000 potholes across the County in a month. After increasing pressure from local residents and councillors, Kent has redirected at least 24 crews to focus on repairing only potholes and promoted a campaign of reporting with the public.

In week one of the campaign, 544 potholes were reported by the public through our Contact Centre - up five fold on a normal week. Kent believe that 2051 potholes reported by public and inspectors have been repaired, and 674 more by "Find and Fix" gangs.

Kent are asking that if you If you spot a pothole to report it online at www.kent.gov.uk/highways and click on 'report a fault' or call 08458 247 800.
