Loseby works on Littlestone Road un-owned land eyesore

Val Loseby: Hopes to get this corner of land at the junction of Littlestone Road and Park Road tidied, but first needs to find who owns it!
New Romney Coast Councillor Val Loseby has been working to get a strip of land tidied, and in doing so she discovered that the land had no owner! The strip of land in Littlestone, at the junction of Littlestone Road and Park Road, has now become an overgrown eyesore.
After much to-ing and fro-ing with Kent County Council and Shepway District Council it came to light that the land isn't registered to anyone. Val was disturbed by this news as it means that no one has responsibility to keep it tidy!
Lib Dem Val Loseby has now passed the issue to the Legal Department at Kent Highways. There may be a solution if a local resident decides to purchase the land.
