Lib Dem Neil Matthews has committed to fighting for a new Hythe Swimming Pool if elected to Hythe Town Council. With a by-election in Hythe West on Thursday, Neil says:

"I want re-join Hythe Town Council to work with Sam Matthews and Darren Briddock push for our promised new swimming pool. It's about time the Conservatives delivered on their promises. We need a new swimming pool in Hythe - now."

The Hythe West by-election has been caused by the resignation of Conservative Councillor Richard Carroll who quit the Council citing Conservative "hypocrisy" over the Party's actions on the Hythe Imperial development.
