Don't Close Folkestone main Post Office

The Royal Mail have announced that they plan to close Folkestone Main Post Office, replacing it with a franchise branch inside WHSmith on Sandgate Road. The move is likely to see job losses of existing experienced counter staff, and reduced facilities and tills due to the size of the WHSmith shop.

We call on Royal Mail to abandon any plans that include closing Folkestone's main Post Office.
